Katie is a Doctor of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization. She attended Western Michigan University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and earned her M.S. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College, followed by her doctorate at Pacific College of Health Science. She is a NCCAOM board certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and a member of the Michigan Society of Acupuncturists. She has a background in Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Integrative Care and Women's Health. She has training in Chinese and Japanese style acupuncture as well as fertility, pregnancy (including Spinning Babies), women's health and cosmetic & facial rejuvenation acupuncture.

She is a homebirth and homeschool mom of two- Brody and Belladonna. She is a runner, swimmer and loves to travel and cook.
