​Kerry Phipps, MA, LPC, CCTP-II, CIMHP

Kerry is a mindfulness-based integrative therapist who draws from a combination of theories in her practice. Working primarily within a trauma-informed existential approach, she respects her client's freedom of choice and recognizes the dignity of each person's perspective in their own treatment. Kerry has a unique background with education and experience in nutrition and alternative healing modalities, wellness coaching, somatic therapy, Montessori education, art instruction, music and youth ministry, mindfulness, and compassion meditation.

Kerry completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with Liberty University in 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Cornerstone University, graduating in 2020. Kerry is also a Level 2 Brainspotting Practitioner with over one hundred clinical hours and uses this modality for direct trauma treatment and as an adjunct to talk therapy for many mental health conditions. Kerry is certified in Complex Trauma, and as an Integrative Mental Health Practitioner, enabling her to suggest and help clients integrate lifestyle and nutrition changes for overall wellness.

Kerry has facilitated and co-facilitated groups in peer education, creative unblocking, art fusion, compassion meditation, mindfulness, wellness planning, and hosts a variety of “tea party” themed support groups at her practice location in Port Sanilac and throughout the community. Kerry has experience working with domestic violence including narcissistic abuse, developmental, spiritual, religious, and anomalous trauma, and identifies as a survivor and peer.
