Chocolate Protein Mousse Recipe


If I want a quick, high protein dessert option to satisfy a sweet tooth craving, this is my go to recipe. No special ingredients and its ready in 5 minutes. Plus, it makes extras for another day!



1 1/2 cup cottage cheese

3 scoops vanilla or chocolate protein powder (whey or plant based)

1/4 cup monk fruit sweetener or maple syrup (I do a combo of both)

2 T cocoa powder

splash vanilla extract


Blend in food processor until creamy, about 3 minutes. Scrape down sides as needed. Divide into individual serving cups or use as a dip for fruit. I love adding fresh fruit or whip cream on top. It lasts for about 5 days in the fridge. It can be frozen, the texture changes a little bit.


I purchase the monk fruit and cocoa powder from Azure Standard- can be picked up locally in Port Huron.
